Starting this fall, MySchoolWorx schools will have a fresh new option for collecting funds from parents directly from within MySchoolWorx: MSW Pay.
MSW Pay provides a more convenient way of collecting funds from parents for a variety of things, safely and securely.
“This additional payment option enables schools to eliminate costly third-party apps, giving parents the convenience of managing their child's tuition and other school fees with one single login," said James Gardner, COO and Director of Development for MySchoolWorx."
Some of the ways schools can use MSW Pay:
- LUNCHES: Parents will be able to place orders and pay for their child's lunches directly from within MySchoolWorx.
- TUITION: Gives schools the ability to create tuition invoices (one-time and recurring) and gives parents the ability to pay directly from within MySchoolWorx seamlessly (no additional accounting apps needed).
- SCHOOL MERCHANDISE: Create your own online "Stores" for parents to pay for uniforms, books, and school merchandise safely and securely.
- EVENT & ACTIVITY FEES: Field trip fees, sports registration fees...just about anything your school needs to collect for can be invoiced or added to your school's store in MySchoolWorx.
MSW Pay is one of two options schools can choose from for consolidating parent payment activities from within MySchoolWorx. (MySchoolWorx already integrates with QuickBooksOnline for similar functions).

State Data Reporting Simplified
Through MySchoolWorx
We're excited to announce that MySchoolWorx has been certified by the Ed-Fi Data Exchange as an approved SIS vendor for the Indiana Department of Education (IDOE).
What does this mean for Indiana schools? Simply put, easier reporting.
Ongoing data reporting to state DE's has been a standard procedure for most public schools for many years, a process that oftentimes has been cumbersome and time-consuming for the school.
As state and federal grants and other school funding have expanded to private schools, so have data reporting requirements. Streamlining the data collection and reporting process has become more urgent to accommodate schools of all sizes
and technology status, a feat the IDOE is accomplishing through the Data Exchange and Ed-Fi certification process.
Indiana schools now have the option to turn on a feature within MySchoolWorx that will automatically send their school’s required data to the Ed-Fi Data exchange for them, alleviating them from performing manual exports or uploads to the IDOE Data Exchange.

We are encouraged by some great things happening in the midst of it all, big and small gestures by everyday folks. "Tiny silver linings”, if you will. It’s our hope is that you are experiencing some of those bright moments each day as well.
For us, it’s been a busy week. We serve all types of private schools, including on-site, virtual school and home school groups, and it’s rewarding to see them leveraging MySchoolWorx especially at this time.
Our veteran remote teams have been focused on helping customers old and new use MySchoolWorx to stay connected. And that means the entire school community – from Admins, staff, and Teachers to Parents and Students. MySchoolWorx was built for cloud communications of daily classroom life.
Many of them are faced with a new challenge: It’s a big task for an entire school to shift to remote education overnight, and we salute our customers who are doing just that right now.
It is our privilege to help them with so many things – from instant communications with parents and students about online classes to sending assignments to students at home. That’s just a fraction of the things our software does, but they have been workhorses this week and it gives us great joy to know we’re helping.
For those unfamiliar, MySchoolWorx is a student information and classroom management program. We cater to private schools and help them with all sorts of things, from single and group communications, attendance, lesson plans, online grades and report cards, to managing things like tuition pay, online enrollment, and transcripts.
Especially as it relates to closures due to COVID-19, our goal is simply this: help schools operate, communicate and educate.
